All properties are all privately owned, either by ourselves or by friends of ours. Below are just a few photos to give you an idea of what's on offer. All our cottages & houses are well equipped - kitchens have cooker, fridge, cooking utensils, pots & pans, china, cutlery, glasses, etc. Linen and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of toilet rolls, etc. Properties are strictly non-smoking. THE FARMHOUSE "We had such a fantastic weekend at the farmhouse I just wanted to say a big thank you and to the owners of the house for helping up make it such a great hen party for Lucie.There wasn't anything that didn't work about it. There was a luxurious amount of space (even for 17 people) and everything was so comfortable. If there is ever another hen party to organise then I would like to seriously recommend Bath Hen Weekend. Thanks again for all that you did."
The farmhouse has 7 en-suite bedrooms, a mix of king & twin rooms, several can have additional single trundle beds, all with power showers, large kitchen/dining room, comfortable lounge with TV & DVD player. Wifi normally available but not guaranteed. Set down a long drive with parking for up to 8 cars & extensive private gardens, outside seating & BBQ (bring bag of fast-lighting charcoal). Chickens & geese in the paddock next to the farmhouse! Fantastic country walks on the doorstep. Pub within walking distance, really good food pub in short drive, shop within 2 miles. 25 minutes from Bristol, 35 minutes from Bath, best railway station Bristol Temple Meads, 5 minutes Bristol International Airport. A typically immaculate bedroom ~ happy hens at the farmhouse!
THE WHITE COTTAGE "A massive THANK YOU for such a fantastic hen weekend! The cottage is just gorgeous and we all enjoyed ourselves SO much. I have some great memories and photos from my special weekend. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a hen weekend."
This gorgeous cottage has 6 bedrooms (3 triple, 1 double, 1 twin, 1 single, plus single futons for 2 extra if required), 3/4 bath/shower rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, big 20'x20' lounge with vast windows, stunning views across the Severn Estuary to Wales, 42 inch Flat screen TV with DVD player, iPod docking station. Dining room is 18' x 12' and seats 14 comfortably. Wifi normally available but not guaranteed. Set on a quiet lane with large patio and private gardens, parking for up to 5 cars, outside seating & quality BBQ (gas provided). Use of hot tub. Lambs in the field next door, fantastic country walks on the doorstep. THE GLAMPSITE "A big thank you for such a fab weekend. Everything was perfect we had so much fun." Just wanted to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Glampsite! Lily made us feel so cosy! I will certainly be recommending you." Use of hot tub. The glampsite consists of 'Lily', a cosy holiday caravan with pretty sitting room, TV/DVD, kitchen with cooker & fridge, shower & flushing loo, 2 bedrooms, plus fabulous bell tent. Lovely outside space, raised deck with amazing views across the Severn Estuary to Wales. Benches, tables & seating. Bell tent sleeps 6, Lily sleeps 4-6. Set down a private access to the rear of the white cottage, past the stables, tucked away in a peaceful location. Parking for up to 5 cars. Fire pit on request, and BBQ (gas provided). At the Glampsite the activity room can be used for activities by prior arrangement (please check availability at time of booking glampsite). The glampsite has private use of the hot tub area including private garden & seating, either morning or afternoon reserved with your booking. The glampsite is on the same site as the white cottage.
THE (NEW) MEADOW GLAMPSITE - NOW FULLY BOOKED FOR 2012 The new glampsite is in a nearby idyllic location, and is perfect for a group size of 12 to 16. See glampsite above for tents & the 'look & feel' of our glamping. The new glampsite consists of up to 3 stunning bell tents for sleeping, and the 'Love Shack', a little wooden barn/shelter with cute undercover dining area, galley kitchen with electric cooker, large fridge, kettle, toaster & microwave. The end of the barn has 2 hot showers. Flushing loo in outbuilding and 2 portaloos for night-time emergencies! Lovely outside space, with amazing views to the very top of the Mendip Hills, outside picnic benches, and quality BBQ (gas provided). Set in a beautiful meadow at Bath Hen Weekend's HQ, there is parking for 6 cars. Lambs next door in spring! Country walks from the door in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. NEW! THE ORCHARD GLAMPSITE AT THE WALLED GARDEN Situated at a stunning Victorian Walled Garden, which has been beautifully restored. It has an award-winning cafe on site, a fully operational garden and craft workshops. Group size 10 plus. The Orchard Glampsite is set down a long drive, at the very bottom of the site, tucked away in the apple orchard and there is parking for 5 cars. It looks stunning when the apple trees are in blossom! The bell tents are in the main apple orchard, and the 2 outdoor gas showers & washing up sink are in a pretty little pear orchard within the main orchard (even more secluded). Across the courtyard there are 2 flushing toilets. We are planning a ‘mess tent’ with tables & benches/seats, electricity with kettle / toaster, basic equipment such as plates, mugs, bowls, cutlery, plastic glasses (no glasses on site) and a gas BBQ (gas provided). Bell tents have rugs, bunting, foam &/or inflatable mattresses with mattress covers. Bring your jim-jams, sleeping bags, torches and bedsocks! We are hoping to offer BBQ boxes from a local meat supplier, salad boxes from the walled garden's head gardener, Mark, and even a meal at the cafe if you would like an easy life! It is about 10 minutes drive from our main site at Blagdon where we hold our activities. There is a very nice pub within walking distance. Why not continue the orchard theme with some cider & cheese tasting?

THE SOMERSET COTTAGES "Well, where to start. I just wanted to write & thank you as we had the most amazing weekend. The cottages were stunning and the setting was amazing; to wake up to the stunning scenery and lambs in the field was magic. The owners were so helpful & kind. We didn't want it to end. A group of cottages around a courtyard in a beautiful rural location with lovely gardens, BBQ (gas provided) & hot tub. The cottages offer great flexibility for different group sizes. The largest cottage sleeps 8 (2 triple rooms, 1 adult bunk room), another sleeps 4-5 (1 king, 1 twin & 1 sofa bed), and one sleeps 2 in a twin room. TV with DVD player. Wifi. THE TERRACES "I just wanted to say a massive thank you on behalf of all the 'henettes' we had the most wonderful weekend at the Terraces B&B. Everything went perfectly. The Friday night was lovely, a gorgeous meal and champagne on the lovely terrace on the patio. Pampers, and a lovely cooked breakfast on Saturday. Drinks and games in the common room and then taxis out. The owners, and the pamper girls were just amazing with all of us! We all loved every second and didn't want it to end." Vicky
The Terraces offers a fantastic value B&B / catered package with 2 nights B&B and an optional 2 course dinner on one evening. It is an elegant, convenient and very good value option for group sizes of 10 to 14 with prices from just £125 pp! 4 Star B&B, all rooms are en-suite. Exclusive use of private sitting/dining room for socialising with TV, fridge, glasses, water, etc. You can bring your own wine, drinks, soft drinks, snacks & nibbles.
